Dan Cohen, PhD & Emily Blefeld, LICSW
Dan Cohen, PhD is an internationally known psychologist, author, trainer, and Systemic Family Constellations facilitator. He served as Co-Director for the 2011 and 2013 US Systemic Constellation Conferences and is on the faculty of the annual North American Systemic Constellation Intensive. He regularly leads workshops and training seminars in Europe, South America and across the United States.
Dan specializes in caring for wounds in deep personal spaces by helping individuals and groups to understand and dissolve their inner disturbances. His practice model incorporates the three Dimensions of Consciousness to actively release the legacy of historic trauma, often bringing in archetypes and mythic characters to stand with members of the family system. Using intelligence, heart, intuition, and humor, Dan offers his clients profound and transformative healing while expanding understanding and restoring peace of mind.
Dan Booth Cohen holds a PhD from Saybrook University and an MBA from Boston University. He is author of I Carry Your Heart in My Heart: Family Constellations in Prison and numerous scholarly articles and book chapters.
Emily Blefeld, LICSW is a psychotherapist, Systemic Family Constellations trainer, and innovator in consciousness who empowers others to tune-in to the hidden information contained within our hearts and step into the living, breathing edge of the evolutionary process. She combines her knowledge of the hidden pathways of consciousness with scientifically validated clinical modalities, sacred ceremony, and wisdom traditions. Emily helps change-agents, visionaries and entrepreneurs uncover hidden patterns and habits that unconsciously hold them back, release limiting beliefs, impulses, and fears, and open to passion, pleasure, and purpose.
Emily’s work is inspired by the call of the Earth for an end to violence, oppression of the sacred feminine, and repression of human sexuality. Her presentations and experiential processes invite participants to access their hearts as an organ of perception and amplify their bodies’ natural capacity to perceive and integrate the resonance that link family members across distances of migration and generations. The old paradigms, outdated narratives, and ancient codes that hold us back are dismantled and the process of remembering, awakening, and opening to wholeness begins.
A Masters graduate of the University of Minnesota, Emily is the founder of Psychotherapy Center for Wellness, LLC in Providence, Rhode Island and co-founder of the Seeing with Your Heart Immersion Program. She serves on the faculty of the North American Systemic Constellations Intensive and has presented at the Omega Institute, Kripalu, and the 2013 and 2015 U.S. Systemic Constellation Conferences.
