I work as a small town emergency physician in Massachusetts. For nearly 30 years, I have also been exploring practices and conceptual models that encourage the unfolding of individual and systemic potential.
These include Focusing, developmental and attachment theory, Positive Psychology, Nonviolent Communication, Integral Theory, spiritual practices, and emergent group processes such as Dynamic Facilitation and Systemic Constellations.
Aware of the desperate situation of the planet, and the creative possibilities that could be brought into being, I am deeply drawn to this gathering, sensing, and exploring together, with all of you and what you bring, in service to the intense challenges of our time.
Alison Fornés, is a Systemic Constellations facilitator and trainer with a mission to radically transform education, and nurture incredibly effective educators and change-makers. Alison offers workshops and training in a variety of settings – from alternative elementary and middle schools to graduates at Harvard University and faculty at Vassar College – all with the aim of helping individuals, organizations and communities transform unproductive patterns into joy and presence, heal unhealthy systems into thriving communities, and introduce people to the power of their empathic intelligence.
I am drawn to learn and experiment with ways to work for social and ecological change that are themselves healing, for ourselves, our communities, and the earth.
As a facilitator and coach with New Directions Collaborative, I work with a range of social change initiatives and networks in New England, drawing on Art of Hosting, strategic questioning, listening, and other tools to help people find ways to be more together.
I am intrigued with how systemic constellation can enable insight into how the past affects the present and offer direct experience of how systems are blocked and can find their way to healthy flow.
With 30 years psychotherapy experience, 20 years as a community educator in intergenerational trauma, and more than 15 years university level teaching in transformative processes, arts based research, and peace and reconciliation, ( www.tlc.oise.utoronto.ca ), Eimear works out of a participatory worldview that centralizes deep democracy in relationships. She integrates indigenous knowledges from many peoples, including her own ancient Irish family, with her praxis of transformative processes.
I’m a bodworker gifted with intuitive hands. Fortune has honored me time with children, who are transitioning from this world to the next. Life has packaged me beautifully in the body of a Black, gay woman. Choice allows me to stand for a different world.
Intention:I am a Change Maker with Ant and Beaver Medicine.
I join Social Alchemy to be visible in the continuing struggle against oppression. To remember the strong, the broken, the triumphant and the devasted ancestors whose shoulders I stand upon proudly.

Dan Cohen & Emily Blefeld Volden
Dan and Emily are two of the United States’ most skilled innovators in merging advanced consciousness and spiritual principles into psychotherapeutic practice. They have refined a way to work with Systemic Family Constellations and the three dimensions of consciousness that enables their clients to perceive the otherwise invisible effects of trans-generational trauma within their family lineage. Together Dan and Emily access the ordinary, ancestral and spiritual dimensions of consciousness to create healing processes that are illuminating and life-transforming. In the field of their work, ancestral presences often become tangibly real. Behind the pain of personal and transgenerational trauma, clients can feel love and receive healing from the consciousness that envelops us.
