A4: Can Constellations be Useful in Forming New Fields of Social Connectedness? (Presentation)
David Kohlberg is a student and researcher of body based social healing. He is the founder of an organization in India oriented to developing a “spiritually integrated political science”, using, among other things, his father’s theory of 7 stages of moral reasoning wedded to an exploration of the social dimensions of auras and chakras and including “social contract theology”.
He is in a currently troubled partnership with a Ugandan indigenous wisdom “multiversity” in a commercial forestry project. His funds come from managing commercial real estate, which he seeks to do in light of all of the above.
David is committed to healing collaborations that are not financially based/biased, because a monetary contract automatically designates one party as healer(s) (call it “facilitator” if you will) and another as client(s). This artificially distorts healing in larger fields of common relevance; and each individual’s situation in it. David’s foundational external training in healing is in Body Electronics, a rigorous method that has the potential to activate deeper “physical” and “consciousness” regeneration than other methodologies that he has experienced. He believes that Constellations can enhance the systemic perspective implicit in Body Electronics and prepare people more efficiently for the emotional transformation and physical regeneration that are the goals of Body Electronics.
David recommends the book Debt: The First 5,000 Years, by anthropologist David Graeber for insights about the systemic biases introduced by modern economic theory.
A4: Can Constellations be Useful in Forming New Fields of Social Connection? (Presentation)
My definitions: Healing removes past constraints on present potential. Development is future oriented guidance of present potential. Like compassion and loving-kindness they work inseparably in a whole state of mind.
Much of the value of Systemic Constellations is in the insights it gives to the invisible patterns and structure of social fields. How can we use what we learn about the dynamics in family and other systems to create social systems that are field coherent and emotionally coherent? What are the bases of such systems in the current world? How can we, individually and with collaborators, develop and nourish coherent social fields? What do we need to understand about the boundaries of social fields?
The objective of this talk is o stimulate consideration and collaboration using Constellation theory and method for understanding and developing social groupings that are based in “field coherence” rather than membership by name or specific criterion.
