Skip the chairwork and go straight to the body! Somatic Imaging is a gentle process of inquiry and co-creation of meaning where the “client’ and the “facilitator” join on a journey to explore the imprint that time has left in their tissues. You will discover the somatic grounding for constellation work and how recent discoveries in evolutionary psychology, neuroscience and social psychology point to the deep interconnectedness we have as human beings.
You will explore the ways that the soma, the living intentional body-being, expresses itself. We learn not to see and hear other people’s deep selves, though the expression of soma is easily observable to a perceptive facilitator. You will discover how to “read” more directly the embodied expression of a constellation. For very good reasons, we stop seeing and feeling others in our worlds. This workshop will give you tools for recovering this natural connection.
Through explorations posture, facial expression, prosody, movement and the very physical way that we come into presence with each other, and how if we attune the deepest issues of the heart are quickly accessible. From this beginning, constellation work can unfold very naturally, starting directly at the heart of the issue.
D5: The Orders of Love and the Organizational Chart: Organizational Constellations (Workshop)
Presenters: Jane Peterson, PhD and Lisa Marie Main
In this workshop we will examine the differences between families and businesses and other organizations with regard to the orders of love. We will explore how confusion between biologically made systems (families) and socially constructed systems (organizations) creates havoc in the workplace and especially in family owned businesses.
To deepen this exploration, we will guide participants through learning activities that enhance their understanding of what is systemic in an organization, and what belongs to the individual, and how to tell these apart.
